Skeptics claim the Book of Daniel was originally authored in Israel during the Maccabean era (167-164 BC). The evidence from the Dead Sea Scrolls, and other archaeological discoveries refutes this erroneous claim. Daniel was written in the 6th century BC in Babylon. Daniel was able to predict the coming of future, earthly kingdoms, because the Lord God of Israel revealed the future to him.
