Dr. Charles Savelle is a Square Supervisor at the Shiloh excavations. He also worked at Tel Gezer in 2017. He holds a BA in Biblical Studies from The Criswell College and a Th.M. and Ph.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary. Dr. Savelle is an Assistant Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary. He also taught at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Houston, TX), the Criswell College (Dallas, TX), The Bible Seminary (Katy, TX), as well as Bible institutes in the Philippines, Korea, and Hungary. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, the Institute for Biblical Research, the Society of Biblical Literature, the American Schools of Oriental Research, and the Near Eastern Archaeological Society.
