The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) has announced the launch of the Israel National Archaeological Database, a free online resource providing public access to all recorded and researched archaeological data compiled by the IAA. The database currently contains 3.9 million records, 1.2 million images, nearly one million artifacts, and 15,000 3D models. It brings together data published by government organizations, academic institutions, and professionals from other contexts. According to the IAA experts leading the project, it is among the largest archaeological online collections in the world.
