Clayton Van Huss joined the Shiloh excavation team in 2022. He serves as a Square Supervisor at Shiloh and has participated in the Mount Ebal Sifting Project. He is a classically trained actor with a BA in Theatre who decided to pursue a ministry path in Biblical Archaeology. A current Masters student at The Bible Seminary, he is in the process of completing his capstone project, a curriculum on the Old Testament Patriarchs. Clayton is the Director of Affirm Apologetics from Southwest Radio Ministries where he produces the television program, Biblically Grounded. He is active in his local church where he teaches adult Sunday school and is developing his Behind the Flannelgraph series that digs deeper into the “Bible stories” that we were taught as children. Clayton is a member of the Near East Archaeological Society and lives in East Tennessee with his greatest find from Shiloh, his wife Abigail.
